Today (31-august-2020) Xiaomi launched their Redmi 9 smartphone .There fore to known what’s new in this smartphone and how’s the smartphone I am reviewing it based on it’s specification. So, read  up to down if you interested in it. And don’t forget to share the information.

Today on 31-August-2020 Xiaomi launched a brand new phone in their number series which is Redmi  9 in India.It is rebrand version of Redmi 9c with some changes which make it a different device from Redmi 9c. But it is very much similar to redmi 9c.

If we talk about the specification of Redmi9 . It comes in two varients which is 4+64 GB which will cost you 8,999Rs and 4+128GB which will cost you 9,999Rs . if we talk about its build and looks then it comes in 3 color scheme (I) Sporty Orange (II)Carbon black (III)Sky blue their backs are made of polycarbonate (plasctic).Display:- it was a 5.3 inch water drop display and comes with a IPS panal of resolution HD+ .It comes with dedicated sim slot (Two SIM slots + Memory card slot) which make it different from its other members which comes with a hybrid SIM slots. Processor:- It comes with with a Helio G35 chipset which is specially made for budget smartphones by Helio. Camera :- it comes with dual camera setup cosist a 13 megapixels sensor as primary camera and second camera is of 2 megapixels for depth sensing and it has a selfie camera of 5 megapixel with AI support . if we talk about the android and operating system it has MiUI 12 with android 10 support . It supports face-unlock feature and has a Physical fingerprint sensor and it also has 3.5mm jack port. It has a 5000 mAh battery also. The Phone is 9mm thick.

Opinion about Redmi 9

If you consider a 4+64 GB variant with 5000mAh battery then it looks a fine in the price segment of 9000rs. I would not say that it is a worst phone but its average and there are many phones in this segment which may be good than this. Therefore I don’t recommend this phone, as to invest 9000Rs in the 4+64 GB variant of Redmi 9  it is better to give 1,000Rs and buy the Redmi 9 prime.I would explain it why the redmi 9 prime is better with a short comparisiion. Which may help you to invest your hard earned money in a better place.

If the Redmi 9 come at 8000rs than it would be fair value for price . I think the price of the phone increased because of Increased GST on the  smartphones. but you can go for the Redmi 9prime by adding 1000Rs more if you buying a 9000Rs smartphone.

1.Black hole

The biggest discovery that take place in 2019 was the “First Image Of Black hole” .you all know that scientist are willing to know about the outer world(space) and one of the many interesting thing is Black hole . Scientist are very curious to know about black hole as it is hiding the most interesting facts about the space and our world. We all are read and understand about the black hole but we don’t know that the black hole does exist or not as we don’t have any photo of black hole until 2019. But on previous year (2019) scientists  took the photograph of black hole and confirmed the existence of it. The Photograph was took from 8 Radio Telescope which was also known as Event Horizon Telescope collaboration. They were fixed at different location on the earth which collectively collects the lights coming from Black hole and made a large data of about 50,00,000GB (5 million GB) and it took about 2 years by scientist to arrange this data perfectly than finally on 10^th April 2019 they got the image of black hole. About 200 scientists arranged this data to form a perfect image.

2.Arrokoth

On 26 June 2014 an American astronomer Mare William and the New Horizons team seen a different object on Kuiper belt with his Hubble space telescope and named it 2014MU₆₉ . That thing was like a iceberg which is also known as commit but when another scientist Marc saw it then that thing was not looked like a commit asit is 36km long which is 10 times more than a normal commit and also 1000 times denser than a commit and it shape was also different like it was formed by attaching 2 commit with each other which is also known as binary commit system . One of them commit is 21km and other was 15km big and are attached to each other and were named as Ultima Thule and collectively is known as Arrokoth means “a distant unknown region ” . With the new horizon space probe’s (A NASAs space craft made by new horizon team) flyby on 1 January 2019 ,Arrokoth became the farthest and most primitive object in the solar system visited by spacecraft. At the time of New Horizons flyby , the object had been nicknamed Ultima Thule. Arrokoth was 1% bigger than the puto in size but its shape was like snowman .Therefore, scientist are studying about its structure and were finding the answer about its structure.

On September 2019 NASAs’ scientist founded a planet  and named it as K2-18B which is 124 light years (1.173 X10¹⁵km) far away from our earth planet it was founded by the Kepler space Telescope which was specifically designed by NASA to find planets which are like earth . The Kepler space telescope was lanuched on 7 march 2009 by NASA . The Kepler space telescope founded a planet which was named as K2-18B But that time scientist doesn’t have information that the planet was habitable or not. But on 2019 researches and scientist founded it to be habitable as it contain water bodies and also have the temperature between 0^o – 40^o which was habitable . Its size was also 8times of earth . On this planet two universities researched and founded that the formation of clouds also occur on it but scientist are not sure about  its  ground surface  that’s why scientist right now are not able to say that the planet is fully habitable or not. They are researching for its surface information .

4.CHANG’E-4

CHANG’E -4 was robotic spacecraft mission, part of the second phase of the Chinese Lunar(moon) Exploration Program. It was launched by China space center on 3 January 2019 .In this Mission China landed their rover in back to the farpart(L₂ point) of the moon . China became the first country to do so successfully .

5.Voyager – 2

Voyager – 2 was the one of the biggest achievements  as Voyager -2  on 2019 crosses the solar system which make it the first object made by the human  which go far from Uranus and Neptune and leaves back the solar system . Its speed was 57890 km/hr at the time of leaving the solar system.It was launched on 20 August 1977 by the NASA and today it left  the solar system and moving beyond the solar system  in the Space.

Before buying a washing machine you should keep in mind what type of washing machine does you require front load or top load washing machine .

In comparison to top load , Front load washing machine washes clothes more effectively (more cleaner than top load) but it(Front load washing machine)is more costlier than top loading washing machine .

->If your  budget is low like less than 15,000Rs than you don’t have the choice between the front load and top loading washing machine , you have to go with the top loading washing machine . Top loading cleans the cloths but not cleaner than the front loading machine . The difference in their cleaning occurs from their difference in design. If your budget is tight or you cannot exceed from 15,000Rs than you have to buy top load washing machine or you may upgrade it to front load later .

But if you have the budget greater than 15,000Rs than you should buy a front load machine not the top load washing machine with better features with the higher cost .

Why you should not buy a top load washing machine with more features and modes over a Basic front load washing machine because you buying the washing machine to wash your clothes more cleaner and the cleaning depends upon the design of the drum not on the more modes and features ,front load has better drum design.

Front load machine circulates the drum in 360^o due to which clothes rotates in upward – downward –left –right directions basically they  ROCK n ROLL inside the machine  and the  pores on the rotating  drum release water to each and every sides and corners of the cloths which results in better cleaning . On the other hand top load machine rotates cloths in anticlockwise then clockwise …. And so on which is not much effective in comparison to the rotation of  front load washing machine . And that’s the very important point in selecting the washing machine for you.

I seen many reviews of the user which upgraded to front load from top load and they have  noticed a lot of difference in cleaning .On that note I recommend you for a front load washing machine .

If you are ready to buy a front load washing machine then what point does you  consider before buying it. Here’s the point:-

 

 i.          Weight :-  

          Selecting the weight(size) of the machine depends on the size of the family

  If the no. of members in your family is 3 to 5 then 5.5 kg size is perfect for you.

 Suppose the no. of members is more than 5 and less than 7 then 6 kg  size  is enough for you.  Or if there is more than 7 members than you may go for 7 kg sized machine.

 NOTE :- Weight denotes the capacity of the drum for example 5.5 kg sized machine can wash     5.5 kg’s of cloths at a time.
 I would recommend a 6kg sized washing machine  over 5.5kg as the price difference between them is hardly 2000-3000Rs .

 

 ii.          Conventional Motor or Direct Drive Motor:-
           Conventional motor consist a driving belt connecting motor to drum of the front load washing machine and results in rotation of drum on switching it ON. But as the name suggest it is primitive technology and now days Direct Drive motor is used its main feature is that it is more space convenient inside the machine than conventional motor and also make less(or no) sound and its comes with warranty of 5-10 years also and are  also replaceable .
 

 

iii.          Spin speed :-
            You should consider RPM(Rotation perminute)of motor before buying washing machine. For example suppose a machine with 800RPM than there is no benefit of buying it as it has 800 RPM it is not able to produce as that much rotation to make your cloths dry or it may dry after several minutes after washing . Therefore you must select a washing machine with minimum RPM of 1000 or 1200 as these RPMs are perfect to make the cloths dry.
 

 

iv.          Digital or Analog :-

If your budget is 30,000rs than you should buy a digital(touch panels to control the machine) washing machine or if your budget is between 15000 to 18000Rs than a analog (with physical buttons ) washing machine is good for you . Both are same but you can a see remaining time or animations in a digital panel which looks good and premium.

Front loading washing machine has less power consumption ,less water and detergent consumption also  as compared to Top load.

Types of Display:-

Today we gonna talk about the displays of smartphones. There are many types of displays to offer in a smartphone which creates a lot of confusion in consumers . That’s why it become important to know which display is good because when you go to buy a smartphone then the shop vendor or manufacturer may tell you that this particular phone comes with an AMOLED or OLED or IPS or TFT etc. in that particular situation you must know what is the difference between them. Many of you may know which display is or bad but I will tell you why that one is good or  why that one is bad. I will provide you a better approach in selecting a display for your smartphone. So, please read it up to down .

following are the types of display:-

1. L.C.D (Liquid Crystal Display)

LCD is a basic display . This Display is used in calculators and in old featured phones( phones with physical buttons ) black and white phones . This display was made-up by holding the six layer of some material . In this display we are not able see clearly under the sunlight and became its limitation .

  2. TFT (Thin Film Transistor) display:-

When LCDs became famous but due to unable see under the sunlight then to overcome this limitation LCDs under gone lot of research  then finally scientists comes with a different displays TFTs(Thin Film Transistor) as the Name suggests this displays contains a transistor which work like active – Matrix and as the TFTs contains transistor therefore they are able to generate color which makes them first colored display .

 3. IPS = In-Plane switching :-

IPS display’s was developed by L.G and Samsung but L.G. ‘s contribution is more in making IPS display. IPS displays are upgraded  version of LCD and TFT display ,TFT displays make us to see under the sunlight but its clearly upto when we look at it straight  but when we see at the mobile at different angles then the color fades and unable to see clearly that’s the limitation of TFT displays to overcome this IPS display’s were made it makes us able to see the display clearly even when tilted . IPS displays become famous very much. Now days screens of television were made of IPS display .

4. Retina Display :-

Retina display  was developed by “Apple” company . The specialty of this display is that its distance  between two pixel(the smallest unit of display)is very low . Which reduces the blurriness of image which produces excellent image quality and color contrast.

Backlight :-

Backlight are implanted under the display which is responsible for the Brightness of the display in a phone the backlight was installed in TFT displays .

5.OLED : Organic light emitting diode :

An OLED display works without a backlight : thus , it can display deep black level and can be thinner and lighter than a liquid crystal display (LCD). In low ambient light conditions (such as dark room) , an OLED screen can achieve a higher contrast ratio than an LCD .Regardless of whether the LCD uses cold cathode fluorescent lamps or an LED backlight.

6. AMOLED :- Active matrix organic light emitting diode

AMOLED is a display technology and stands for Active Matrix Organic Light emitting diodes .it is a type of OLED display and is used in smartphones . OLED display thus having clear quality it cannot produce deepest level of black which effects on battery backup . Therefore make the displays more efficient Active matrix was added in OLED display which results  in glowing the required pixel while keeping the unnecessary pixels off and also make it to generate the deepest level of black .

7. Super AMOLED display :-

Super AMOLEDs are works on the same  principal as the AMOLED’s works the only difference between them is that Super AMOLED’s display are 20% brighter than AMOLEDs and consumes 20% less battery .

 8.SLCD :- Super LCD

SLCD were developed by Sony and Samsung . SLCDs are  latest version of LCD .Its specialty is that it doesn’t have gap between the display and Outer glass due to which it looks like that videos or image were  playing on the outside of display . It gives very immersive view .

HTC used this display most in their smartphone . But it doesn’t become famous due to some reasons

9.Clear Black Display:-

Clear black display was used by Nokia in their some phones . Its specialty is that it don’t reflects sunlight which was falling on the phone under the sunlight due to which the brightness and contrast of the display remains same as in the indoor condition  able us to see in the sunlight clearly . Also its quality is very good.

Processor is a type of chip which is implanted in the mobile , computer , laptops etc.  Processors  are most important part in a mobile , computer and laptops and decides how will be the performances of that device . Processor handle’s and understands the processes between the hardware and software which will make the mobile or computer to understand what user wants to do and make the device to respond to the users command if the processor is not able to understand what a user want to do then it will give false output to a input . In simple words cores decide the power of the processor . The ability and efficiency to do work can be decided with number of cores. If the processor comes with less number of cores like 2 or 1 then the cpu (processor) is not able to do heavy works and multi tasks simultaneously. Therefore expensive computers and smartphones comes with 4cores(Quadcore) and 8cores (Octacore) which make them able to do the task more efficiently. More the number of core more the efficiency  and more number of cores comes with more money.

Basically GHz decides how fast the hardware and software communicate with each other . therefore people purchases mobile and computer with good processor and the larger number with GHz.

eSIM:-

eSIM stands for Embedded Subscriber Identification Module . The eSIM comes in some specific smartphone(for e.g. iphoneXs). This eSIM is mounted on the motherboard of your smartphone which can not be removed by the owner of that Smartphone and of course cannot be installed by owner . It get preinstalled by smartphone or smart watches manufacturer and they works on GSM technology which is also used by the normal SIMs.

To use eSIM  first you go to your network operator which can help you in converting your SIM in eSIM because you have to upload you sim info in your eSIM which can be done by the network operator by the way we can also change it by ourselves but just to be safe it is good to go to a network operator which know its work well.

Which Telecommunication will provide you eSIM facility?

In India Reliance Jio and Airtel  are the two companies which provides you eSIM facility.

Can we change the Network operator in eSIM?

The answer is yes , we  can switch it into any network operator which provides eSIM facility and we can also change the number. All you have to do go to network operator and he will make some changes in your settings  and he/she will provide a QR code which you have to scan and that’s all your network company or mobile number get changed.

It is very much easier than changing the company as in the case of primitive SIM cards.

eSIM and SIM doesn’t have lot of difference beside that it eSIM are preinstalled by the manufacturer and cannot be removed.
